International ALBINISM Awareness Day

ALBINISM is a rare genetic disorder of melanin.
It is presented with reduced to absent pigmentation of skin, hair, and eyes which may lead (according to severity) to reduced vision, photosensitivity, nystagmus and strabismus.
There is no cure for albinism. However, we can prevent its symptoms by wearing sunglasses and applying sunscreen.
