About TOVA

The TOVA (Test of Variables of Attention) is a specialized tool used by healthcare professionals to assess attention and impulse control. It measures key variables in both auditory and visual information processing, providing insights into how well a person can focus, control distractions, and stay on track with tasks.

The TOVA helps evaluate crucial aspects of attention, such as:

-Ability to remain focused

-Control of distractions

-Impulse management

The results are compared to age and gender normative samples, as well as a population diagnosed with ADHD, which helps create detailed reports for each individual.

Reliable Testing for All Ages (4 to 80+ years):

The test is categorized into specific age groups and tests administered:

-Visual preschool (ages 4-5.5)

-Visual school-age (ages 5.5 to 17)

-Visual adult (ages 18-80+)

-Auditory (ages 6-29)

The test duration is typically 21.6 minutes, but for younger children (ages 4-5.5), it takes approximately 10.8 minutes.

This reliable tool is ideal for assessing attention across various age groups.
