Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

At our center, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy begins with a thorough consultation with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). During this initial meeting, the BCBA gathers important information about the student’s needs and challenges.

Following the consultation, the BCBA assigns a qualified ABA Therapist (ABAT) to conduct an observation of the student in their natural environment, such as school or daycare. This observation helps to better understand the student’s behavior in context.

If needed, the BCBA will also administer the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales assessment to evaluate the student’s social and adaptive skills. This assessment provides detailed insight into areas requiring support.

Based on the collected data, the BCBA develops a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), tailored specifically to the student’s needs. The ABA therapist then follows this individualized BIP during the therapy sessions to work on improving social skills, communication, and adaptive behaviors.

This structured and personalized approach ensures that each student receives effective and goal-oriented ABA therapy.
